Best Head Shave near me in Dahod, Gujarat

Dahod sits in the hills on the Madhya Pradesh border, a railway town with a loco workshop and a market that fills on the day the villages come down. Its shaving chairs are simple rooms off the bazaar and around the station, and they work fast because the buses do not wait. Up here the air is dry and the light is hard, and a scalp taken to the skin in April meets both without anything in between.

A chair in the Dahod bazaar takes ₹80 to ₹130 for clippers down and a wet blade over the top; the better salons in town ask ₹130 to ₹200 and add a hot towel and a proper rinse. Check the blade is opened in front of you rather than lifted from a drawer, which the shops here are used to being asked. A blade running over a scalp can catch where an old scar or a bump sits, and the barber needs to be told where those are.

Salonist shows which Dahod shops have a chair free and what people said after sitting in it, which beats walking the bazaar on a market day. The platform's reach runs to 15,000+ businesses across 60+ countries, and that depth of listing is what makes the reviews under a small-town shop worth reading at all. Men travelling for work fix chairs in Panchmahal or Chhota Udaipur while they are out, and Vadodara is the long-distance option.

The head-shave trade in this corner of Gujarat runs on observance and on heat. A death in the family brings a son and often his brothers to the chair within days, and the shop keeps the room quiet for it. A mundan is fixed by the household and the shrine, not by a barber's diary. Then from March the hill country bakes, and men who spend the day loading at the goods yard take it down because a shaved head dries between two trains.
