Best Barbershop near me in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh

Fatehpur sits in the middle of the Ganga-Yamuna doab in Uttar Pradesh, roughly halfway between Kanpur and Prayagraj on the Grand Trunk road and the main railway line. It is a farming district with a modest headquarters town, a busy mandi at Bindki, and ghats at Bhitaura on the Ganga. People pass through more than they stop, which suits the barbers near the station and the highway: quick cuts, quick shaves, and a Sunday morning that fills with local families.

Prices are among the lowest on the corridor. A cut at a neighbourhood shop is ₹80 to ₹180, beard shaping ₹80 to ₹200, and a hot-towel straight-razor shave ₹100 to ₹200. The air-conditioned unisex salons on the main road charge ₹250 to ₹550 for a cut with wash and styling, and grey coverage starts at ₹500. Head massage is expected. Fade quality varies; the barbers who have worked in Kanpur Nagar or Prayagraj usually have the cleaner hand, and the photos in their reviews show it.

Salonist shows live availability at Fatehpur shops that take bookings, lets you choose the barber, and takes UPI or card payment in the app. It draws on 15,000+ businesses across 60+ countries and 2 million+ reviews, so ratings come from real chairs. Sunday mornings and the days before Diwali, Holi and Eid fill early; weekday afternoons are the quiet slot. A booking is also the easy way to fit a shave into a stop between trains or a drive on to Kaushambi.

Who books here: farmers in town for the mandi, railway and highway staff between shifts, students from the colleges, and families doing the children's haircuts on Sunday. Wedding season from November to February brings groom packages with a facial, colour and a trial cut a week out. Ask about fresh blades and disposable neck strips; the better shops keep the packet on the counter, and the reviews mention it when they do not.
