Best Barbershop near me in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh

Hamirpur is a Bundelkhand district in Uttar Pradesh where the Betwa runs into the Yamuna, with Kanpur about seventy kilometres north and the new expressway cutting travel times in every direction. Rath and Maudaha are the other market towns, farming and sand are the main work, and the summers are fierce. Barbering is unhurried and traditional: a chair, a mirror, a good razor and a cold rinse, with a few unisex salons in the district town drawing the younger crowd.

Prices are low. A cut at a neighbourhood shop is ₹80 to ₹180, beard shaping ₹80 to ₹200, and a hot-towel straight-razor shave ₹100 to ₹200. The air-conditioned salons on the main road charge ₹250 to ₹500 for a cut with wash and styling, and hair colour or grey blending starts at ₹500. Head massage is standard and welcome in the heat. Fade quality varies a good deal; the barbers who have worked in Kanpur Nagar usually have the cleaner hand, and reviews with photographs are how you find them.

Salonist shows live availability at the Hamirpur shops that take bookings, lets you choose the barber, and takes UPI or card payment in the app. It draws on 15,000+ businesses across 60+ countries and 2 million+ reviews, so ratings come from real visits. Sunday mornings and the days before Diwali, Holi and Eid fill early; weekday afternoons are the quiet slot. If you are driving the expressway, the same search reaches Jalaun and Mahoba.

Who books here: farmers in town on market day, expressway and sand-transport drivers on a layover, students from the colleges, and families doing the children's haircuts together on Sunday. Wedding season from November to February brings groom packages with a facial, colour and a trial cut a week out. Ask about fresh blades and disposable neck strips; the better shops keep the packet on the counter, and reviews from Banda travellers passing through tend to say who does.
