Shops is one of those oddly named pockets on the Abu Dhabi municipal plan, a small mixed community rather than a retail strip, and a fair number of its flats and townhouses keep a house rabbit tucked away from the heat. Finding somebody who can trim a nervous lop without frightening it is the difficult part, which is why Salonist gathers the mobile groomers and small-animal clinics taking bookings around this corner of the capital. The pet grooming options in Shops page is the sensible starting point.
A rabbit groom is deliberately light on handling. The groomer begins with a quick health check, works through the coat with a brush to lift the loose fluff of a moult, teases mats out by hand or with a comb instead of clippers, clips the nails and finishes by checking the scent glands, ears and rear end for soiling. Rabbits are never bathed and never tipped onto their backs into a trance, and because their skin is paper thin any blade work is done slowly and sparingly. Most visits wrap up inside twenty to forty minutes. When every local diary is taken, rabbit grooming in Tamouh is the nearest alternative.
On price, a nail clip alone runs about AED 45 to 85 around here, a full brush-through and tidy AED 95 to 170, and heavy de-matting or a moult strip AED 140 to 240, with a call-out fee added for a doorstep appointment. Compare those bands against rabbit grooming in The Gate District (TGD) before settling on a provider.
Afterwards, keep the rabbit indoors in the cool, since heat builds fast in the capital and rabbits cope with it far worse than cats or dogs do. Air-conditioned rooms also keep them shedding nearly year round, so a weekly brush between appointments stops the coat clumping into trouble. Owners using rabbit grooming in W10 follow much the same routine.
No groomer is based at an address in Shops yet, so Salonist points you to handlers who come to the door, which most rabbits plainly prefer given how badly travel unsettles them. You book without a phone call, pay in the app and choose from genuine reviews, with 15,000+ businesses already listed on the platform. rabbit grooming in W13 01 is another nearby option.
